Pureau 10L Price Rise

We value the loyalty Pureau drinkers have to our brand so we wanted to let you know that from August 2009, the price of our Pureau 10 Litre cask will be increasing by around 5% (the exact shelf price increase will be determined by the supermarkets).
We last raised the price on our 10 Litre cask over two years ago, in May 2007. Since then, our raw material costs have increased by 12%, production staff wages by 7% and investment in our purification equipment by over 12%. And of course freight costs have fluctuated wildly during this period due to the price of petrol. We are still absorbing the majority of these increases in an attempt to keep Pureau as affordable as possible for our customers.
Please know that the price increase was not a decision we made lightly. We appreciate that many people are currently under financial pressure and that every cent counts. Contrary to big beverage companies with different categories of drinks in their portfolio (like soft drinks or juices) small players like Noble Beverages who concentrate on water aren’t highly profitable. The price increase will help ensure that our company remains competitive in the future.
To help keep Pureau affordable, we will be holding promotions for our 10 Litre over the months ahead. Remember that it’s never the supermarkets that absorb these price discounts, it is only us.
We will also continue to reinvest in our plant and purification process to ensure that our water upholds exactly the same quality standards created 20 years ago. No water in Australia comes close to delivering the level of purity as Pureau and we will always maintain this standard.
